朱洪周，男，山东昌邑人，一九四三年出生。中国书画函授大学毕业。中国书法家协会会员。中国书画家协会理事。高级书画师。中国国学研究会研究员。北京秦唐翰墨书画院艺术顾问。中华书画协会副主席。中华人民共和国日史编辑委员会诗书画院理事。中国当代艺术协会终身副主席。中国五体书法研究会副会长兼篆书专业委员会常务委员。

多年来以习篆书为主，已形成自己的风格特点。《毛泽东诗词》，《大学》，《孙子兵法》，《论语》，《道德经》等用篆书写成长卷（小楷释文），深受收藏者喜爱。作品多次入选参展，如：《中华魂——纪念抗日战争胜利60周年翰墨典藏》获金奖，并入典。

二零一六年中国国际书画艺术家联合会举办的‘纪念孙中山先生诞辰150周年-------爱国文艺传承人’评选活动，被授予“爱国文艺传承人”称号。二零一七年由中国人民美术出版社恭聘担任高级书画顾问，颁发“中国人民美术出版社高级书画顾问”荣誉称号。

二零一八年经中国国宾礼特供艺术家评审工作委员会严格评议审定：作品《龙腾虎跃》认定为中国国礼书法作品，同时评为“中国国宾礼特供书法艺术家”。作品被中国紫光阁国礼中心收藏。二零一八年作品《书写新时代，铸就中国梦》，被纪念中国改革开放四十周年组委会作为国礼定制在国礼玉扣上，赠与参会中外嘉宾政要并收藏（制作数量2018枚）。同时被授予“中国国礼艺术家荣誉称号”。

二零一九年三月作品《中美建交四十周年 · 高瞻远瞩必向前》，被庆祝中美建交四十周年艺术展组委会专家认定获得特等奖，并蒋定制在“国礼功夫茶具十件套”上，作为“2019奥巴马总统之约访学团暨中美建交40周年合作论坛”指定国礼（全球发行量2000套）赠予中外政要嘉宾。本人被授予“大国文化形象大使”荣誉称号。同时经海外联合工作委员会，美中文化名人交流协会联合推荐：特聘为首批“新时代大国文化领军人物”。

二零二一年四月中国文学艺术发展基金会携手中国国际总商会联合举办调研活动，被授予首批中国新时代最具艺术价值人物。二零二一年七月特邀成为沈鹏书法艺术工作室专家组高级顾问一职（任期五年）。

二零二一年八月，为庆祝举世瞩目的中国空间站发射成功，提贺作品“东风长征破万里，神舟天宫闯星河。”作品贺一等奖，被中国航天书画编委会授予“中国航天书画杰出贡献艺术家”称号；并特聘为：“中国航天书画理事”一职。

作品寓意：太极图象征阴阳平衡。
