魏振宝,1944年10月6日生,江苏扬州人,汉族,毕业于安徽师范大学艺术系,芜湖市书画院专职画家,被聘为英国皇家艺术研究院荣誉院士、客座教授,系中国美术家协会会员,国家一级美术师,被聘任全国政协画院副院长,作品多次参加全国美术作品展览,

代表作有:

1972年水印木刻《节约》组画4幅参加1972年全国美展,北京;

1974年水印木刻《课后》参加1974年全国美展,北京;

1976年水印木刻《课后》参加1972年-1974年全国美展部分作品陈列;

1979年套色木刻《骄杨颂》参加全国第六届版画展览,北京;

1980年水印木刻《沱江月》参加全国第十届版画展览,杭州;

1981年水印木刻《沱江月》参加“纪念中国新兴版画运动60周年”中国当代版画新作展,同时并赴美国日本展出;

1984年水印木刻《沱江月》参加第八届全国美展,

1984年水印木刻《皖南民居》参加全国第十二届版画展览,深圳;

2004年水印木刻《憩》赴保加利亚展出。2004年水印木刻《皖南水乡》参加塘沽第一届全国版画邀请展。

20世纪末完成国画长卷《锦绣江南图》876公分X33公分,国画长卷《土家山寨图》949公分X33公分;

2007年-2011年完成国画长卷《徽乡古镇图》788公分X33公分;

2012年-2013年完成国画长卷《丝织图》616公分X33公分:;

曾有作品赴罗马利亚、意大利、保加利亚、美国、日本展出,出版有《魏振宝素描集》、《魏振宝画集》。

2014年被授予“人民功勋艺术家”荣誉称号、“国家艺术奖金奖”荣誉称号,“国家艺术大师”荣誉称号。

Wei Zhenbao, born on October 6, 1944, a native of Yangzhou, Jiangsu, Han nationality, graduated from the Art Department of Anhui Normal University, a full-time painter of Wuhu City Painting and Calligraphy Institute, was hired as an honorary academician and visiting professor of the Royal Academy of Arts, and is a member of the Chinese Artists Association , National first-class artist, was appointed as the vice president of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and his works have participated in national art exhibitions for many times.

Representative works include:

In 1972, 4 paintings of the watermark woodcut "Saving" group participated in the 1972 National Art Exhibition, Beijing;

In 1974, the watermark woodcut "After School" participated in the 1974 National Art Exhibition, Beijing;

In 1976, the watermark woodcut "After School" participated in the exhibition of some works in the National Art Exhibition from 1972 to 1974;

In 1979, the color woodcut "Ode to Pride" participated in the 6th National Printmaking Exhibition, Beijing;

In 1980, the watermark woodcut "Tuojiang Moon" participated in the 10th National Printmaking Exhibition, Hangzhou;

In 1981, the watermarked woodcut "Tuojiang Moon" participated in the "Commemorating the 60th Anniversary of China's Emerging Printmaking Movement" new Chinese contemporary printmaking exhibition, and also went to the United States and Japan to exhibit;

In 1984, the watermark woodcut "Tuojiang Moon" participated in the 8th National Art Exhibition,

In 1984, the watermarked woodcut "Houses in Southern Anhui" participated in the 12th National Printmaking Exhibition, Shenzhen;

In 2004, the watermark woodcut "rest" was exhibited in Bulgaria. In 2004, the watermark woodcut "Water Village in Southern Anhui" participated in the First National Printmaking Invitational Exhibition in Tanggu.

At the end of the 20th century, he completed the Chinese painting scroll "Splendid Jiangnan Map" 876 cm X 33 cm, and the Chinese painting scroll "Tujia Cottage Map" 949 cm X 33 cm;

From 2007 to 2011, completed the long scroll of traditional Chinese painting "The Ancient Town of Huixiang" 788 cm X 33 cm;

From 2012 to 2013, completed the long scroll of traditional Chinese painting "Silk Weaving" 616 cm X 33 cm:;

Some of his works have been exhibited in Romania, Italy, Bulgaria, the United States, and Japan, and "Wei Zhenbao's Sketch Collection" and "Wei Zhenbao's Painting Collection" have been published.

In 2014, he was awarded the honorary title of "People's Meritorious Artist", the honorary title of "National Art Gold Award", and the honorary title of "National Art Master".
