周和林1950年生于上海,祖籍浙江镇海。学生时代即习书法美术,1984年参加上海中国画院美术书法进修班,师承胡问遂,钱茂生等名师,曾获得"上海市职工书法篆刻展"一等奖,"神龙杯"全国青少年书法大赛园丁奖等。作品入编《上海书画家篆刻名典》,1984年由赵冷月,钱茂生介绍加入上海书法家协会,原为上海市少年宫,宜川学区艺术学校书法教师,现为上海东方书画院画师、中国世纪大采风书画院常务副院长、中华卫视艺术风采栏目艺木会员、中国书画家联谊会新文艺群体书画家工作委员会委员、现在上海同欣进修学校书法教师,民建会艺专委副主席.中国楹联书研会常务理事,新文艺报副编辑。2021年5月18日受邀出席2021天津品牌强国论坛暨中国品牌500强发布会,荣获2021书画界十大品牌创新人物。2021年荣获国际艺术名家荣誉称号。由中国互联网联盟、新华网、光明网特邀为2021优秀人民艺术家并进行专题报道。

Zhou Helin was born in Shanghai in 1950, and his ancestral home is Zhenhai, Zhejiang Province. When I was a student, I studied calligraphy and art. In 1984, I participated in the art and calligraphy training class of Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy. I learned from Hu Wensui, Qian Maosheng and other famous teachers. I won the first prize of "Shanghai Staff Calligraphy Seal Carving Exhibition" and the "Dragon Cup" National Youth Calligraphy Competition Gardener Award, etc. The work was compiled into the Shanghai Calligrapher and Painter Seal Carving Classic. In 1984, Zhao Lengyue and Qian Maosheng introduced him to join the Shanghai Calligraphers Association. He was originally a calligraphy teacher of Shanghai Children's Palace and Yichuan School District Art School. He is now a painter of Shanghai Oriental Calligraphy and Painting Academy, the executive vice president of China Century Collection Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and the art style column of China Satellite TV. Member of Muyimu, member of the New Literature and Art Group Calligraphers and Painters Working Committee of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, now a calligraphy teacher of Shanghai Tongxin Training School, and vice chairman of the Art Special Committee of the Civil Construction Association. Executive Director of China Federation Book Research Association, deputy editor of New Literature and Art Daily. On May 18, 2021, he was invited to attend the 2021 Tianjin Brand Power Forum and the press conference of the Top 500 Chinese Brands, and won the top ten brand innovation figures in the calligraphy and painting industry in 2021.
